Case Study 1

Transform your home

This large detached house has been refurbished to the highest standard to create a stunning home. The building works took approximately 9 months.

The house was reduced to a shell. The garage was then demolished and footings were set out for a new double garage and utility room.

A kitchen and orangery were created totalling a 270 square metre extension to the rear and side of the property.

The upstairs was then reconfigured creating larger bedrooms and en suite facilities. A modern heating and plumbing system were installed and the house was completely rewired bringing it up to the latest standards.

The old roof was stripped and the existing rafters were straightened or replaced. The new roof structure was then tied in to the existing structure. The team then felt, battoned and laid a new roof.

All windows were replaced and all rooms were replastered and painted. The exterior of the property was then rerendered and painted. The front and rear gardens were landscaped and land drains were dug.

Case Study 2

Extend your home

This project was an extensive renovation, remodelling and extension of a Wirral family home. The house was built in 1950s. Time takes its toll on every home, this property was dated and in a state of disrepair.

This contract entailed a front single storey extension to the front and a double storey extension to the rear of the property.

The house was stripped. The footings were set out and the foundations were excavated. The walls were built and the extension began to take place. New concrete floors were laid to the ground floor and timber to the first floor.

Steel was installed according to the engineers structural specification. The first floor brickwork was completed and the roof was constructed.

The existing windows were replaced with new PVC window frames by our FENSA approved window fitters. The roof was laid and tiled in.

Our team then moved on to first fix electrics and plumbing. First fix joinery was carried out – room alterations were made, existing doorways were changed. The house did not have central heating so a new system was installed from scratch. All rooms were plastered and painted. Second fix joinery, electrics and plumbing were then undertaken. The rooms were then painted, bathrooms tiled, doors were hung.

A new kitchen was fitted. All soil and rainwater drainage pipes were replaced around the circumference of the property. The front and rear gardens were landscaped and the driveway was tarmacked.
