Shower room/ House Shower RoomWith this project the brief was simple. The customer required a modern fresh look for their shower room. The main priority was to get rid of the purple finish to the walls! The room was on two outside walls with no insulation and as a result was very cold. When the shower was used lots of condensation built up leading to a formation of mould on the walls and ceiling over a period of time. To combat this we installed a radiator and a towel rail and suggested using Marbrex on the walls instead of tiles. Marbrex is a upvc cladding with a hollow air space behind it meaning that it is warm to the touch minimising condensation. The customer played their part choosing a very nice pattern which gives the impression of traditional tiles having been used. The ripped and tatty lino was replaced with floor tiles to compliment the finish of the walls and the artex ceiling was covered with a plain white Marbrex board to increase the warmth of the room further.HouseThis is one of the many houses we've built. This one was built back in 1983. I liked it so much that I decided to live there and remain there until this day.
