We are a building and conservation company based in Wollaston, Northamptonshire.

We specialise in heritage brickwork and traditional masonry. We carry out lime mortar repointing to brick and stone, tuck pointing and gauged brickwork. We also do extensions, garden walls and orangeries/conservatories. We pride ourselves on being craftsmen who use traditional skills and materials like those who have built centuries before us.

We offer a friendly yet professional service and every member of our team is City & Guilds/NVQ qualified including our sub contractors whom we call upon for electrics, plumbing, roofing and plastering amongst others.

We have countless references and a portfolio of previous work. Previous customers are also happy for prospective customers to have a look at completed work for peace of mind.

We work in and around Northamptonsgire, Bedfordshire, Buckinghamshire and Leicestershire but do consider travelling further afield for the right project.

Rebuild 4/5 brick pillars

I cannot speak highly enough about the service Rick has provided on this job for us. It is rare to find a building contractor who makes commitments and then keeps them but Rick does just that! His work is of exceptional quality and he is clearly proud of what he does - this reflects in the quality of the finished work and the professional way he and his team organise the site (cleanest building project I have ever seen). His advice on the areas of the job we were uncertain about has also been invaluable. I will use his services again in the near future and would not hesitate to recommend him to others.

Demolition and rebuild of Victorian garden wall with lime mortar...

The project was to rebuild a Victorian Brick Garden, using as far as possible the original bricks or reclaimed Victorian bricks. He approached this project with enthusiasm. This was a large project 10m x 1.5m and he achieved our objectives with care and a high level of professionalism. He would not lay lime mortar in rain or in temperatures below 5 degrees C. He and Tom worked carefully and accurately to provide an excellent result. To enable the lime mortar to cure properly through the winter, the whole wall is wrapped in bubble warp and hessian. I would regard him as a master craftsman. He does not compromise and would rather lose a day than lay old brickwork in inappropriate conditions. I would certainly use him again without hesitation..
