Residential New Build


Project Type: Residential Detached New Build with Detached double garage

Project Responsibility: Principle Contractor

Location: Newcastle, Darras Hall

Lead Time: 48 Weeks

Project Description: The spacious dwelling incorporated seven large bedrooms with en-suites, one sauna and steam room, one gym, an office, a large home cinema room, open kitchen and dining area, lounge, drawing and guest room, utility and plant rooms. The new build material included hand baked brick to promote a slight archaic effect with the complimentary beautiful art stone, Grade I roof slate, sash triple glazed windows with self-cleaning glass, specialist concrete floor systems, sound bloc plasterboard systems, specialist mechanical and electrical systems and various other high quality materials. The external area incorporated a detached double garage, tennis court, and approx 1000sqm landscape area with turf and block paving.

Commercial New Build

Project Responsibility: Principle Contractor

Location: Gateshead

Lead Time: 24 Weeks

Project Completion: 20 Weeks

Project Value: £260,000

Project Description:

The build incorporated a ground floor retail store with 2 above residential apartments. The project was completed within the agreed timescale despite extra variation of ground works. The foundations had to be strengthened with steel Cantilever systems and the neighbouring property had to be considerably underpinned for stabilisation. All the groundworks, drainage, specialist concrete floor systems, traditional block and brick superstructure, the mechanical and electrical with complete internal works and fit out were completed at 19 weeks.

Project Description:

A high quality traditional new build with a spacious detached residential dwelling and a detached double garage.

The property design features two front circular turrets, a grand portico entrance, hand baked bricks, grade one slate, sash windows, numerous aluminium bi-fold doors at rear, specialist concrete floor systems, etc. The property boasts seven large bedrooms with en-suites, open plan kitchen, lounge, guest room, library room and utility room. Mechanical and electrical works were also carried out at three floors incorporating high quality materials.

The superstructure was accomplished in 24 weeks.

This particular project is to be implemented in three phases, ie. superstructure, internal and external works. Moreover, prior to external works being undertaken, the existing habitable property at the front of the site will be demolished.
