A bad debt is always a blow for any small business. And for a busy small builder, the length of time that's inevitably spent chasing payment may mean that the sum is finally written off in sheer desperation.

In conjunction with a reputable firm of solicitors, the FMB can provide a free trade debt recovery service for members which can trigger payment from reluctant payers.

Please note that this service is only appropriate for uncontested debt.
