FMB Director General, Richard Diment, was interviewed on BBC Radio Five Live and asked about the Office of National Statistics (ONS) announcement on growth for quarter two 2010. Richard disputed the ONS report, which suggested that construction had seen the strongest growth of all industries in quarter two 2010, citing other surveys which have shown construction is still struggling and explained that the extreme weather at the start of the year also meant that figures were being taken from an unusually low start line.
