The AGE is a grant for employers in England recruiting an apprentice aged 16-24.  Grants, worth £1,500 each will be available until March 2013, for small businesses that employ one or more such apprentices.  Funding will start from 1 April 2012, but eligible employers who have employed a new apprentice from 1 February 2012 will also be able to apply.  For further details and eligibility criteria see www.apprenticeships.org.uk/Employers/Steps-to-make-it-happen/Incentive.aspx
