FMB offers advice at the London Homebuilding and Renovating Show
ExCel, London Docklands 30th Sept - 2nd Oct 2005
Have you ever dreamt of living in your perfect home, specially designed to suit your style as well as your budget, but you are not sure how to go about planning your project?
The Federation of Master Builders (FMB) will be on hand to answer all your questions this weekend (30th Sept - 2nd Oct) at the London Homebuilding and Renovating Show being held at ExCel, London Docklands. The FMB will be offering professional advice to help you refurbish or build your dream home and you will also have the chance to win £2,500 towards your building work!
Laura Hayes, London regional director of the FMB said: "Whether you are at the beginning of your project or well underway, this is a great opportunity to obtain expert advice and meet with us face-to-face. As the largest construction trade association in the UK, we can help you to get in touch with approved tradespeople and contractors in your area."
You can also find out about the FMB's 10-year MasterBond warranty scheme, which is specifically designed for renovations, improvements and extensions to your home.
Even the best of builders can meet problems through no fault of their own and MasterBond offers consumers protection against failure to complete the work, against faulty workmanship or materials for up to two years and against structural defects for ten years, even if your builder is no longer trading. Should you move, the insurance would stay with your home, making it very attractive to potential buyers.
To find out more, visit the FMB at stand 115. Check out the FMB's website www.findabuilder.co.uk which includes a search facility that offers a list of local builders, all vetted by the FMB. Only builders and specialists who can prove their skills and good business standing are accepted and the FMB logo is widely recognised as "The sign of building quality."
