  BATJIC is the Building and Allied Trades Joint Industrial Council. This partnership between the FMB and the TGWU provides a valuable forum which helps to maintain good industrial relations in the workplace.

• Expertise, Consultation & Cost Effective Schemes
  BATJIC offers expertise and consultation on conditions of employment, health and safety, apprentice training and many other issues which affect FMB members, and has pioneered a series of tax-efficient, cost-effective schemes to help small employers manage and provide holiday pay, retirement and death benefits.

• Working Rule Agreement
  National Conditions of Employment and Wage Rates, which together form a Working Rule Agreement, are negotiated by BATJIC.
