Readers of Master Builder magazine will recall the article in the January 2008 issue about Mark’s project. Talking about his win in that article, Mark said: "After careful consideration we have chosen the Nissan Cabstar as our prize. Our old vehicle is coming to the end of its life, so this really couldn’t have come at a better time!"
Nissan was the principal partner of 2007 Master of the Year. In business, you need a vehicle you can rely on and Nissan has a reputation for producing hard working, reliable vehicles. This reputation is built into Nissan’s range of tough, dependable Light Commercial Vehicles, and on a bright and sunny day in February, Mark collected his brand new signwritten Cabstar from his local Nissan dealer, Sims, in Kidlington, Oxfordshire.
A few weeks after the presentation, the Cabstar was really coming into its own, Mark said: "It’s brilliant, it’s working hard for us, we are so busy now with new projects that at the moment it is used more often than not to collect materials from suppliers."

The keys to the Cabstar were presented to Mark, by Les Idiens, Nissan Motor (GB) Ltd’s dealer Development Manager, Commercial Vehicles, and SIM’s General Manager, David Barlow. Among others congratulating Mark on the day were Ron Storer, FMB National Vice President, Terry Traylor, Site Manager for Bybridge Construction, Hayley Fry, Regional Director, FMB Southern Counties and Jim Barton, Regional President, FMB Southern Counties.
