Having the right training and accreditation is becoming more and more important in the construction world so we have set up FMB Training Services Limited to help give members the edge in a competitive market.

 

Investing in training can give you the competitive edge needed to survive and grow, even in tough times.

 

Our courses are open to any employee of an FMB member firm, and are designed to help you develop the skills of your whole team, including office-based support staff.   Some courses are also open to non-FMB members at premium rates.

Green Building

Eco House

Many FMB members currently see low carbon as a business opportunity and recognise that they will need to know more about it in the future.

The Government’s Green Deal is due to be introduced in October 2012. It will establish a framework for firms to offer consumers energy efficiency improvements to their homes, and businesses at no upfront cost, and recoup payments through a charge in instalments on their energy bill. Competent, well-trained and qualified installers who can be trusted by specifiers, consumers and business end-users are essential for the success of the Green Deal.

Health and Safety

Health and Safety

Small firms are being targeted for non-compliance with Health & Safety regulations – don’t be among those who get caught out! A one-day Health & Safety course is available at a competitive rate from FMB Training. 

The FMB is a staunch supporter of HSEs Hidden Killer Campaign. The FMB are using communications with members to highlight this issue and are extending their programme of training across the UK in 2012 so as many FMB members a possible have access to this vital knowledge that can save lives.
