Whether you’re starting out on your first renovation, building a new home, adding the finishing touches or simply looking for inspiration, Grand Designs Live is the must-visit event. Presented by design guru Kevin McCloud, the event offers top expert advice, innovative products and eco-solutions for your home. Not to mention, meet over 500 companies across four project zones and get access to lots of live talks and interactive demonstrations.
500+ companies – Split into four key sections of a large scale home project (Build, Kitchens & Bathrooms, Interiors and Gardens), you’ll find everything from architects and building materials, down to lighting and outdoor furniture. Whether you’re updating your living room, are planning an extension or want to take on a self-build; there is something for every home, however big or small the project.
Live talks – Take a seat at the live theatre stage to hear from Kevin McCloud and previous Grand Designers talking about their fantastic home builds and best bits from the TV series. Plus don’t miss the inspiring and educational sessions to give you the latest tips, trends and advice on self and custom build, interiors and sustainability.
Expert advice – Access a free one-to-one consultation, with an expert of your choice. Categories include designers (garden, interiors, kitchen), planning and finance specialists, as well as architects, builders and project managers. Appointments can be pre-booked on the Grand Designs Live website.
Eco/sustainable design – Continuing to follow Grand Designs’ eco-ethos, the live event showcases the best eco-ideas and concepts of the year. Chosen by Kevin McCloud, the Green Heroes set an example for the rest of the industry. Plus to celebrate 10 years of Green Heroes, the event will be welcoming back companies from the past, to see where they are now.
Interior room sets – This year's theme will focus on "The Great British Box Room", a small room that is often left unused, forgotten or as a dumping ground for the things that don’t fit anywhere else. 6 interior designers will take on the challenge of creating an inspiring, useful space which will allow visitors to take home new ideas, information and supplier contacts.
Plus much more…
