The Old Barn in Oldbury-On-Severn, Bristol, was in poor condition and needed a complete renovation internally and externally. A&M Building Services Bristol worked on a number of aspects of the project including landscaping, brickwork and more to transform The Old Barn in to a unique, modern home with all the charm of a country cottage kept intact.Project Goals: The client has a large family and two dogs so required plenty of usable space both indoors and outdoors. The original house was a little dated and our client wanted to bring it up to date whilst keeping a traditional feel. Space was a key consideration for the client, who wanted the home extended and the garden made in to a space suitable for the family and entertaining guests. Results: The Old Barn has been given a new lease of life! The home has been extended with a huge family kitchen and the interior rooms renovated to a high standard creating the perfect living space for the familyOutside, the garden now has a decking area with pizza oven – perfect for entertaining friends in the summer. What’s more, a hidden courtyard area is ideal for hanging up washing without compromising on the garden space.Services involved:Barn conversion renovationLandscaping servicesInterior and exterior renovationExtension and green roof installedGarden brickwork and deckingWork was undertaken between February and July 2015.
