This is the interior work for a restoration in an early 19th century period property. The photos show the kitchen/dinning/lounge and the hallway/stairs after the restoration.
The work included;
- Kitchen: Handmade, fitted and painted by our own fair hands.
- Kitchen/dinning/lounge: Doorway blocked up, removal of 27" wide structural wall between 2 rooms. 4 steel beams concealed and 1 oak beam visable. Fire place altered to fit AGA, handmade over mantel and island unit by us. Soild oak flooring fitted throughout.
- Lounge: Opening up of old fire place, re-building of stonework and handmade over mantel by us.
- Sitting room: Full restoration of plaster cornice, replacement of picture rail, new skirting boards, oak flooring and restored fire place. We handmade a over mantel and T.V. cabinet.
- Corridor: Complete refurbishment.
- Downstairs cloakroom: Complete refurbishment including slate floor.
- Office: Complete refurbishment including opening up of fire place, re-building of stonework, handmade mantel by us and new sliding slash windows.
- Hallway and stairs: Refurbishment of hallway and staircase. Handmade panelling to staircase by us and re-decoration.
