Repair and Maintenance, S.A. Brain

ASW were chosen as a single source supplier of repair and maintenance works to all of S.A. Brain pubs, hotels and coffee shops in the UK, currently numbering around three hundred across Wales, the Midlands, South and South West of England.
ASW provides facilities management and reactive maintenance services to all 300 properties owned by S.A. Brain. Works range from simple lock or toilet repairs to removing a sunken Dutch Barge with a 500 tonne crane at the Wharf in Cardiff.

Housing Maintenance, Newydd

ASW are the single maintenance service provider for all domestic properties and sheltered housing schemes owned by Newydd Housing Association.
Newydd Housing Association has more than 2600 properties throughout Mid and South Wales. Since December 2013 we have been the provider of 24/7 responsive repair, minor works and void works for this organisation, increasing value of works per annum to approximately £600,000.
The works involved are Reactive and Void Maintenance plus Minor Works and Disabled Adaptations.
Our approach to carrying out maintenance works in multiple occupied properties focusses on a First Visit Fix approach. This helps minimise disruption, waiting times and defects. More importantly, this approach also minimises inconvenience for working tenants who may have to take time away from work and also for vulnerable people who may need family members or carers in attendance.

Family Housing (Wales) Ltd

Family Housing (Wales) has over 2,500 properties throughout the Swansea, Carmarthenshire and Neath Port Talbot areas. Since 1995, ASW have carried out 50% of the planned works for this long standing client. During the past 4 years we have completed over 350 kitchen renewals and 450 bathrooms to occupied properties. We are the single provider of all the reactive and void works including a 24/7, 365 day out of hours service.
We have developed a close and trusting working relationship with the client, such that we are able to visit properties and advise the client on works that need to be completed to bring the property up to the Welsh Housing Quality Standard, especially on void properties.
A recent kitchen and bathroom renewal project in Neath Abbey was a different project to most as many of the tenants had ‘special’ requirements due to disabilities and required extra care and support from families and support workers. A high degree of planning and collaborative working between all involved was required to ensure that the tenants were kept as comfortable and as informed as possible.
