This project required us to remove 2 internal walls and an existing steel beam and open up the kitchen and dinning room into one open area that would be come the new kitchen, a small part of the existing kitchen was then partitioned off to create an office area. We had to insert 2 new steel beams, one to carry a load bearing wall and the other to carry the single story roof so that we could install the new aluminium bi-fold doors. The single story roof then had 3 x Velux windows fitted to allow more natural light in to the new kitch/dinning area. Once the structural work was complete we the fitted a new kitchen that was supplied by us through one of ours suppliers, we also carried out some tiling work for the customer as well as re-felting a large flat roof.
