About us:
We are based in Andover Hampshire and work within a 20-mile radius. We consist of a small, friendly team that enjoy and take pride in their work, have a reputation for tidiness and clean sites, and keeping programme. We also find it important that if there are any problems, we deal with it there and then, and if you require additional works we will advise cost to proceed, not at the end of the project which can cause unpleasantness. We go into a project to stay and conclude that project and provide precise and detailed advise if anything must change.

We provide a full service to our clients and future clients. Within our services is the option to help design and plan by listening to your needs and wants for your property, and to carry out any drawings or planning permission and building regulations as needed. This includes any and all calculations regarding the building or alteration of your property and any steelwork that needs to be carried out. We are content with any unusual or awkward projects as well as normal day-to-day projects. We specialise in remodelling and extending in which multiple rooms are brought together into one larger unit/room, however we have experience in most if not all possible domestic projects. We provide plumbing, heating and electrical installations as well as supplying and fitting kitchens, bathrooms, showers, wet rooms etc. We can supply and fit stairs and bespoke joinery if necessary as well as any windows or doors, including bi-folds.
All projects are closely managed, and we aim to completely satisfy our clients with the service we provide, at a fair price. Thank you for your time, Ian.

Ian and his team were recommended to me a few years ago to do the ground works for installing a gas tank in the garden. As I had a few issues with Calor on delivery and inspection their help and adaptability was a godsend. So when I wanted to do some more building works a year later, Ian was the first person I called. We talked through the plans for an extension, to remove an internal wall and re-fit the kitchen. Throughout the life of the project (just short of a year) Ian and his team were a pleasure to have onsite (our home). Ian had a wealth of experience, could accommodate odd and changing demands from us, brought in and managed a number of reliable specialist tradespeople and always came onsite to ensure everything was to our satisfaction. I hired Faraday to knock through my kitchen and dining room, to turn my pantry into a utility room/WC and to remove and build a new porch on the front of my house. I moved out while the kitchen work was done, but they were still careful to keep the house clean and there wasn’t any dust afterwards. After looking at the pantry Ian advised that the cost of running waste pipes might end up being beyond my budget, as he didn’t know until he started digging up the floor what he might find. I appreciated his honesty, and we settled on running new pipework into the utility room ready for if I decide to fit a Saniflo-type toilet in the future. He also came up with a clever solution of narrowing the utility room doorway to make better use of the space inside. I gave Faraday some photos and rough sketches for a new porch and they designed it for me, adding flint work so that it blends in with the rest of the front of the house, which was built in the 1840s. I was really pleased with the porch and I think it gives my home much more kerb appeal than it had before. Overall, works began and ended on time and everything was clean and tidy. Just a quick note to confirm how pleased we were with the pave driveway that you laid for us. The drive was excellently constructed and other than the occasional dressing with kiln sand, has stood up strongly to the passage of time. Your team were well organised and caused the minimal disruption to our everyday life.
