This was a design-and-build commission for a client we met at the Grand Designs Exhibition in 2015. We were responsible for all aspects of this ground-floor extension – from feasibility study to fitting out and finishing its kitchen/diner, along with remodelling of the upstairs bathroom and master bedroom. The project was completed in 17 weeks.
This project involved building an upper-floor extension to a 2nd floor flat in the heart of Islington and upgrading the Victorian property. Hyssop Project’s solution blended modern materials with the period feel of the property, while working within the constraints of a conservation area.
Our brief for this two-bedroom apartment in Notting Hill, which was in reasonably good condition, was to upgrade and harmonise its features and finishes to maximise its rental value. The range of works agreed with our repeat client covered most of the property. Click here to see more of our work.
Our commission was to redecorate the entire interior of this Grade 2 listed property to a very high standard within a 10-day timeframe, while the family was on holiday.
This apartment in a highly desirable West London location was in need of modernisation. Our client, for whom we have upgraded other rental properties, wanted to maximise its marketability for a limited budget. The works included full re-wiring and partial replacement of some features and redecoration, carefully managed to minimise additional expense.
A complete renovation of an architecturally interesting but challenging building, this project required structural works and solutions to dampness and condensation problems, as well as new floors and extensive decoration inside and out.
