This has been our first design and build project. All drawings and layouts have been done inhouse. We submitted a full presentation, with samples of all the materials to be used. Along with the detailed drawings we supplied full artist's drawings for those who cannot see the finished article from working drawings. The build has been a complete success. We handed over the main bar in four weeks on time, and the dining room followed a further two weeks as promised. The club have supplied their own furniture to finish off a very successful six weeks.
Started with a new conservatory, internal decoration, and new windows. Added new doors, skirting, architraves, flatten artex ceilings, re tile toilet fit new kitchen, laminate floor, tiled floor, new lights and new Mega flow heating system.External works. Form a turning circle in adjoining field, build shed for water holding tank, level garden and form new decking patio area.
This is a standard external redecoration. First pressure wash all walls and stabilise ready for new paint work. Undercoat and gloss fascia and soffit boards. Re-felt front porch roof and replace rear side doors in UPVC.
A large project. We first had to cover in a section of open space on the roof to accommodate the toilets and snug designed for the first floor. The door at the rear of this photo leads out onto the first-floor smoking area. The whole of the first-floor required soundproofing and a specialist was brought in to design the acoustic layout. The next stage was to cot various holes within the structure to form new door openings and the largest section was through the reinforced floor to fit the newly made stairs. Large ducts had to be formed for the drink pythons to serve the first and ground floor bars. A Fire Escape Corridor had to be formed from the first floor to evacuate onto the street. A cellar to feed both bars was formed from scratched and we worked well with St Austell Brewery who carried out the cellar work.
