J.E.T Construction Ltd. are a construction company based in Milton Keynes that have been providing construction and interior refurbishment services in and around the Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire, Bedfordshire, Northamptonshire and Oxfordshire Areas of Southern England since 1985.
Every aspect of the company's work is governed by our commitment to delivering quality, value and service to our many commercial and public sector customers, on contracts ranging from £5,000 to £1m.
All of our building projects are subject to a rigorous policy of pricing, project & contract management and cost control. We achieve this through being a direct employer of skilled labourers covering all the major trades.
Our staff is made up of a wide range of skilled professionals. From our Estimating & Surveying departments, through to our Contracts Managers, Site Supervisors and Tradesmen, we can offer a complete construction solution.
We employ independent safety consultants, RBS Mentor Ltd, who keep us up to date on all Health and Safety related matters, and our annual audit ensures that all our sites are kept safe and our operatives are fully conversant with legislation. Due to this, we have an outstanding Health and Safety record.

Education: Brunel University, Student Accommodation Refurbishment

Over a twelve week period, we carried out refurbishment works to 80 student accommodation flats including kitchens, corridors and stairwells. The project involved a a complete strip out, including the existing En-suite shower facilities of each flat, the removal of the existing communal kitchen facilities (of which there were 7 in total) and the removal of all furniture and finishes. We then performed some minor structural works to the service risers, replaced all lighting, installed new shower and toilet facilities, redecoration, new floor finishes, fitting of new Kitchens including all appliances and the installation of new furniture and soft furnishings.

Health: Temporary Chemotherapy Suite at NHS Cliftonville, Northampton General Hospital

This temporary chemotherapy suite at Northampton Hospital is now situated in the old booking centre, which was a non-clinical facility.
For this project we altered and adapted the building to create a clinical facility, including mechanical and electrical alterations and adaptions, the installation of a new preparation room, alterations and refurbishment of the back office and toilet area and decorations and floor coverings. We also performed some small external alterations and adaptions.
We successfully completed the work on time, within budget and to the client's satisfaction.
Client: Northampton General Hospital NHS Trust
Value: around £73,000
