We carried out a 140m2 extension to this Pub whilst it remained open. The works included a new Ladies, Gents & Disabled Toilets, New function room, and refurbmishment to existing bar area, kitchen staff area and existing toilets.
The existing staff accomodation was refurbished and extended from 1 apartment to 2 apartments and we then built 2 new apartments above the pub aswell. The work involved extensive design input from us throughout the build process as we were working of planning drawings instead of construction drawings.
The scope included renewable energy (PV panels) on the top floor roof together with all sound testing, Air permability testing, EPC's, energy & water assessments, SAP calculations, Acoustic report, fire safety management plan.
Traditional building method were used in the external envelope construction and additional insulation was installed to the existing external walls and loft to ensure they complied with the building regulations.

The works involved extending 2 existing bedrooms and 1 bathroom and forming a new playroom in the loft together with an additional bedroom.
The dormers were formed in timber then insulated, then covered in Cedar cladding left untreated to silver naturally.

This was originally a 3 bedroom house.
The works involved demolishing the existing rear extention and the forming of the new rear extension, together with the removal and altweration of the existing side roof to allow for the dormers to bbe constructed.
The main advantage of carrying out these works is that it transformed the upstairs accomodation from 2 benrooms and a toilet to a masterbedroom with seperate ensuite and dressing area, the forminh of a new bathroom and 2 additional bedrooms leaves the client with 4 bedrooms upstairs. Downstairs the seperate kitchen and dining areas were merged with the new extension to leave a beautiful open plan kitchen dining area thta is absoutely fantastic for sociela evenings / parties. The ground floor walls were constructed in the traditional method (both block inside and out as the external walls were being rendered). The frirst floor walls were constructed in timber then insulated and rendered in a through coloured render.

Fast, reliable and great quality work at a fair price. Lee and the team have carried out a lot of work for us over the years. He's always listened and given us options which have improved the projects. Plus he's always on hand to sort out any urgent problems. Our outdoor water tap failed in the recent cold snap and we had a major water escape. Lee was round in 20 minutes, isolated the mains and fitted a new tap. Lifesaver in more ways than one and all part of the terrific service he's given us!!

I'm really happy with the work that Lee and the team (Dave and Mark) have done for me over the last 14 weeks. The cedar clad photos are mine and are part of a large upstairs extension with 3 new dormers, finished inside too, loft area boarded out for a play room and a new downstairs bathroom. The guys showed up every day on time and worked hard all the way through until they left. Lee chatted through ideas very patiently with me and provided excellent advise. They were clean and tidy and looked after me. Thank you all - I'm delighted and would highly recommend!
