This carefully designed building incorporated a light and open aspect to the midfloor kitchen and living space. "A" rated energy efficiency certificate was achieved by employing enhanced levels of insulation along with the installation of a carbon neutral heating appliance along with PV panels installed on the roof.

We were employed by the client to undertake an extension and alteration of their 1930 home. The design was a careful and well thought out blending of a contemporary design grafted onto a traditional home.The project offered up some technical challenges such as the conversion of the old garage into a utility room / study, provision of new aluminium Velfac windows throughout complete with sky lights and a single storey rear extension with full height Velfac doors.

This Project was constructed from a local Architect design.Construction work involved the demolition of an old 1940's Asbestos garage. The erection of a single duo pitched plain tile roof garage. the garage liked back to the house with a new utility room. The project was finished off with a conversion of the downstairs toliet into a contempoary designed well insulated shower room. Completed Feb 2016

Project Information: Completed 2013 Curved Steel Framed extension clad in cedar boards incorporating Aluminium bi folding doors designed to give unencumbered access to the Garden. The project design called for a single ply membrane to be fitted to the flat roof (25 year guarantee) and to incorporate a circular roof light. The project was completed on time and within budget with zero defects.
