Martin Evans Construction were established in 1993 and since then has worked on a wide range of projects both large and small, in city centres and rural locations.
We consider ourselves part of a team which includes the client, architect and/or surveyor. We place great value on good communication, providing regular updates, assistance and effective solutions to keep the project on schedule and on budget.
Martin Evans Construction is a member of The Contractors Health and Safety Assessment Scheme (CHAS). We have Independent health and safety audits carried out on all our sites. Additionally, all members of our senior management team are required to undertake regular health and safety courses. We are also long standing members of the Federation of Master Builders.
Restoration & Refurbishment:
As one of our specialist areas, we have an impressive portfolio of restoration and refurbishment projects.
We have restored everything from barns to Georgian townhouses to Victorian factories. While the projects may occasionally present us with the unexpected, for us this is all part of the challenge (and enjoyment) of undertaking this kind of specialist work.
The result is a portfolio of high quality work and steady growth, based largely on our client’s recommendations.
Education:
Over the last ten years we have carried out a number of successful projects in the education sector. Our work in this sector over the years has been widely varied, ranging from outdoor teaching areas to laboratories. We have also been involved in the construction of new classrooms, nurseries, toilets, computer suites, kitchens and refectories.
We understand the importance of a collaborative working environment especially when carrying out works within occupied buildings where the possible risk to children and staff is greater. We work closely with the professional team to develop clear lines of communication with key members of staff. In doing so, we minimise the disruption and impact of construction works at all times.
We strive to adopt and encourage this cooperative way of thinking with all clients from the initial stages of the contract right through until completion. We believe this is critical to the success of any project, specifically when planning construction works within a busy school environment where safety protocols and programming of works are essential.
Industrial & Commercial:
We have completed a large number of commercial projects including, factories, pubs, restaurants and post offices. Regardless of the varied nature of such works these projects all share the same basic requirements; to achieve completion to the highest possible standard, on budget and on time.
We pride ourselves on our project management skills and on our ethical approach. This process begins by providing tender prices that are competitive and providing realistic completion dates.
We use Microsoft Project Management software to continually review your project at our head office.
We are based in Wolverhampton and work throughout the West Midlands.
