McMurray and Martin Ltd are winners of the 2019 and 2020 Federation of Master Builders Awards in the category medium size project in the south west. We were named outright winners in this category from hundreds of nominations. We were also reginal finalists at the local authority building control awards (LABC) 2019 and highly commended in the LABC 2020 awards in best local builder category in the south west.

Internal reconfiguration

McMurray and Martin Ltd was entrusted to carry out the internal ground floor reconfiguration of this property. Works consisted of removing all internal walls inserting steels and replacing rear lean to roof with new Velux roof windows within.

McMurray and Martin Ltd was entrusted to carry out the build of two extensions to this 1920s property to allow for modern day living. The front of the extension consists of nearly all glass allowing for natural light to flood the kitchen dining room creating a breath-taking entrance from the misguiding hallway. The cement based cladding is soft suttle tone of green allowing the building to not be to imposing and to pick up the colours of the established willow tree it sits next to.
