We have been putting off our kitchen refurbishment for a while, as we were worried about getting a reputable builder and the hassle and inconvenience. The work consisted of knocking down a couple of internal walls, installation of a couple of roof velux windows, installation of bifold doors and dismantling old kitchen and installation of new. From the very first day of the project Lee and his team were there when they said they would be. They set us up a 'temporary' kitchen in the garage so at least we had cooking facilities. Lee co ordinated all the works, building, electrics and plumbing and kitchen installation and building regs. All tradesmen were excellent, professional, pleasant and tidy. We are so pleased with the end result we have a lovely new kitchen. and the process was no where near as painful as we expected. We can definitely recommend Ridley Construction and would give more than five stars if we could!

Lee and his team have been fantastic from start to finish of our extension. At least one of the team was at our house every day of the four month project which included the cold and wet Winter months, always arriving early before we left for work. Lee created a group chat for us to ask questions whenever we needed which was really useful and he offered valuable advice throughout the project. There was only one piece of advice we didn't take and we already wish we had listened to him. Every piece of work done was to the highest standard and our kitchen is now a real 'wow' room as a result. He planned the whole project and handled all elements of the build including liaising with building control which made the experience far less stressful than we had thought it would be. We have already recommended him to several people! Huge thanks to Lee and the whole team at Ridley Construction.

We recently hired Ridley Construction Ltd to construct a single-storey, wrap-around extension consisting of a kitchen diner, utility room and garage. From the initial consultation, Lee was both professional and knowledgeable, whilst offering some invaluable advice - (this was our first ever extension) - which made us feel at ease from the outset. Lee also provided a detailed quote of the works to be done which explained each process in a clear and concise manner. The build itself started on the agreed date and all the tradesman Lee employed were punctual, professional and friendly - and the level of workmanship was second to none. They arrived promptly every morning and ensured the site was tidied at the end of the day - causing as little disruption as possible. Nothing was too much trouble. We are delighted with the finished build and would 100% recommend Ridley Construction for anyone looking to have any building work done.

Lee and the team were excellent. They protected the rest of the house, tidied up after themselves, were very knowledgable and proactive in suggesting options or alternatives, and provided works and services to a really good standard. They also finished only a few weeks after their predicted date (nothing in construction terms) and were very accommodating as we had a baby half-way through the build and some of the build stages were slightly rearrange to help with this. We will be using Ridley Construction again and will be (and have) recommending to friends for their extensions / construction projects.

Ridley Construction recently completed a single storey rear extension to our property. Works were completed on time, to budget, of good quality, and included additional works we requested, nothing was too much trouble. Workmanship is of high quality, we are more than satisfied with the end result. Everyone involved were friendly, professional, competent, punctual and skilled in their work. The work was carried out to a high standard with minimum disruption. All rubbish and debris was removed in a timely manner. The extension was delivered on time despite pressures arising due to material and labour shortages. We are very pleased with the extension, the result being a lot more impressive than we had originally envisaged. Lee also recommended Complete Building Control and liaised with Solihull Council on our behalf, who also provided a professional and timely service. Thank you to Lee and his team for a job well done. We have recently had our 2-storey side extension completed by Lee Ridley Construction LTD, alongside lots of internal works. We had been let down by 2 previous builders over nearly a 2-year period prior to contacting Ridley Construction and we were on the verge of giving up on our project. Lee came out to give a quote and I was immediately impressed with his attention to detail, and knowledge, he pointed out issues that other builders failed to notice and put all of my concerns I had to rest, and within a few days responded with a reasonable quote, to which we accepted. The build itself was started on the agreed date and we were in awe of how smoothly and quickly our building progressed, and every single one of the tradesmen that Lee employed were amazing, nothing was too much trouble if I requested something or had a concern. The whole project was completed within the agreed budget and we couldn't be happier with how it all turned out. We can't praise Lee and his team highly enough.

I am not in the habit of providing feedback for companies, as I am a perfectionist and tend to be very hard to please. However, I have chosen to make an exception for Ridley Construction Ltd (RCL) as their service was truly exceptional – which I find is a rarity in this day and age. We engaged RCL to build a single storey extension “day room” to the rear of the property, extending out approximately 3.5 metres into the back garden and 4.5 metres across. I should point out that this was largely my wife’s endeavour, I personally was not that fussed about having an extension at all. The works commenced just before the lockdown started, and I was very concerned that the project might get severely delayed when the lockdown was announced less than one month later. However, Lee (the business owner) was very proactive in arranging for social distancing measures for the workforce such as erecting plastic sheeting for walls, and also chasing the supply lines to ensure that the project kept moving. As a result, we barely noticed much delay on the project - apart from a brief shut down immediately after lockdown, where Lee assessed what options were available within the law for the building sector and which ensured everybody was kept safe. The quality of the work remained excellent throughout, and amazingly they also stayed within budget - despite the greatly increased demand for many key products (such as plaster) as the supply chains were severely impacted by the global lockdown. Lee notably seemed to have many contacts at various supply outlets who would advise him when key orders would come in! As I said, I am a perfectionist, and with every project I get done on the house I normally have to “settle” for something which isn’t quite perfect. To me nothing is ever perfect. It is unattainable. But I think this day room is about the closest you could get to perfect.

My kitchen extension has recently been completed by Lee Ridley Construction Limited. I cannot praise Lee and his team highly enough. They were punctual -efficient - courteous and always tidied up at the end of the day.The workmanship is excellent and finished to a high standard.Nothing was too much trouble for Lee who I’m sure had his patience tested when I changed my mind on a couple of things re style/ colour but he sorted everything out telling me that there wasn't anything that couldn’t be sorted.! Considering he was working under the extreme pressure of the virus lock- down he managed to complete in just over the estimated time originally stated. I can highly recommend his company as one that prides itself on friendly customer service care and efficiency .

We used Ridley Construction to build our ground floor rear extension. This was the first time my husband and I have ever undetook any development so choosing a builder who we could trust came from another good reference. We couldn’t have asked for a nicer and trustworthy person to build our extension. The work that Lee did was to a very high spec and all the best materials where used. Lee always put you at ease if there were any questions we needed to ask & we couldn’t be happier how our extension turned out. During November 2017 we sold our previous home and downsized. The property suited our requirements in fact it had been reasonably well kept but was in need of a complete makeover We appointed Lee Ridley in March 2018 to carry out the building works which involved demolition of the side buildings and the construction of a wrap-around ground floor extension to form kitchen/family dining room and ground floor shower room. When choosing our builder we required somebody who would totally project manage the build from day one and has a constant presence on the job. As I am in the construction industry myself I knew this would be hard to find. I cannot put into words how pleased we are with Lee and Ridley Construction. They have been magnificent from day one to the end of the project. The workmanship by Lee and his tradesmen is of the highest quality and I would recommend Ridley Construction to anybody who wants a correct and professional project carried out.
