The objective here was to create two Bedrooms without changing the shape of the roof and to add a Wow factor by creating a central oak and glass balustrade staircase, that flows from the ground floor to the roof space.
The roof on this property was only 1.7m in hight so we raised the roof to create the space that we needed to install a large bedroom with a Juliet balcony, roof window a walk-in wardrobe and a shower room.
The build included a complete re roof.
The main requirement for this conversion was to match exactly the existing stone to the stonework on the dormer.
We sourced the stone from the same quarry where the stone was sourced for the house when it was built.
Our client requested a master bedroom en-suite conversion with cedar dormer and a Juliet balcony.
The conversion features a well-designed layout with pir stair lighting
