Woking - Single Storey Rear Extension & Full House Reconfiguration

This project involved a rear kitchen extension and Japanese cladding to a residential property in Woking. The project required detailed design consideration to meet all the requirements of the planning application. The wood gives the home a layer of traditional character with just the right amount of unfinished detail.

The large sliding doors and skylight installed maximise the natural light sources in this spacious open-plan kitchen diner. A feature kitchen island also adds a splash of colour, whilst providing a unified space for the family to gather. 

Our London client trusted us to take on this large renovation project to add an additional 37sqm to the property via an open plan single-storey rear extension.

Our client wanted to maintain the traditional appearance of the exterior of their property, whilst bringing a modern and stylish design throughout the interior. The Market Design & Build accomplished this with the installation of a sleek, rear double-storey extension and loft conversion.

Our Twickenham house extension client was looking to make their house as stylish and modern as possible, with new technology adapted to their requirements.

We are pleased to announce the completion of this loft conversion in Richmond. This project was kept in mind the traditional feel of the area, as our client wanted to modernise what they already had. Taking this into account and adding the two theories together, we have built a traditional yet modern design.

At The We were tasked with completely transforming this large family home in the heart of Kew. We undertook a large rear extension at this property, along with a double dormer loft conversion.

• Victorian tiling on front of property

Our design team created a beautiful open-plan kitchen and living area that extended into the rear garden thanks to some large bi-folding doors, bringing in natural light. The kitchen itself was finished with a bespoke marble worktop for durability and a sleek contemporary look. We also completely rendered the outside of the new extension and painted the front of the house to ensure consistent colour across the entire property. Outside, we completed a new front driveway and rear patio area, along with new Victorian tiling on the front of the house

The project itself is comprised of timber construction with a flat felt roof and dormer walls, complete with a slate finish. It was crucial that we followed the same design of the existing building with regards to the communal stairways, so that the renovation looked as natural as possible.

Our client wished to modernise their traditional Pinner semi-detached bungalow, whilst retaining the original features and characteristics.

Whilst the property already comprised of a loft conversion, the new layout required the whole property to be stripped to its bare shell and re-configured to allow for extensive structural remodelling. The ground floor comprises of a large landing area leading into a playroom, study and an extended living room, thanks to the conversion of the garage, which served as part of the original structure.

This stunning terraced family home in Twickenham was in need of an upgrade. The property underwent a full refurbishment, loft conversion and rear extension, with the aim to increase the living space of the property, whilst maintaining its Victorian interior.

Constructed in Crown Road, New Malden, this modern new build project was strategically designed to take full advantage of the remarkable natural scenery surrounding our client’s stunning plot. Our expert design and build team effortlessly blend traditional and modern aesthetics to create a warm, inviting family home. The standout features of the new build project include:

Our London client was keen to maximise the space of their Ealing property. Our design and build team achieved this with a modern, state-of-the-art rear kitchen extension and additional refurbishments throughout the home.

This property is the garage transformation into the new build terraced house located near the Windsor town centre. The objective was to create a unique, Victorian style but with a modern touch and sustainable home that provides an enjoyable living space. This property also provides a stunning view from the loft as you can see Windsor Castle and all surrounding areas of Windsor.

The Market & Design Build team were proud to fully renovate this beautiful Richmond property with a complete loft conversion and double-storey side and rear home extension.

The standout features of the Richmond renovation include:

• Extensive structural remodelling
• Roof structure installation with Rosemary Clay tiles and loft dormer window

The project began by demolishing and stripping out the entire interior of the home before placing new foundations at the back and side. We installed a total of 57 new steels into the structure.

The feature point of this property is the wonderfully designed Shaker Kitchen, providing a modern twist on the classic style. Natural stone Marshalls Slabs were fitted across the new patio leading out into the garden. 

This property was once a bungalow. With a single-story extension and loft conversion in Pinner, the client and their family are able to now enjoy a spacious brand-new home.

An entire second floor was added to the existing property via an enormous double dormer loft conversion. This additional space was developed into a beautiful master bedroom, with natural light pouring in through the large windows at the rear. We were tasked with completing a major two-floor home refurbishment and rear house extension on this double-fronted three-storey Victorian residence in Teddington. Set behind a gated wall, the sheer enormity of this property was itself a thing of beauty.

We were asked to give a beautiful, traditional house more of a contemporary look with an internal home refurbishment, rear extension, new office and W/C.
