Hector Torres was recommended by a friend with high standards. He has carried out at least 15 different sets of work for me on about 6 properties, ranging from smallish painting/repair works and exterior works including paving, fitting floodgates, to major renovations with wall removals, kitchen fittings, bathroom fittings, and the construction of a new extension.
Every single night the property has been left swept and as clean as possible. Hector shows up promptly, and the works duration is largely as estimated. The pricing is reasonable and I have never found him unfair. Obviously there are sometimes surprises in old buildings, but he has tried to give a rough idea of how much extra work and cost there will be once the surprises have surfaced. Sometimes when I have ideas that he isn't sure about, so we have a good discussion and he does his best to deliver what I ideally want. He is not at all condescending to female clients - sometimes a problem with builders, but not with Hector.
