Bungalow Roof Lift Loft Conversion with Dormers - Derby

This bungalow required a roof lift loft conversion and the family that lived there wanted 2 en-suite bedrooms and a dressing room to increase the space in their property. We were able to achieve this by raising the roof with attic trusses and forming the dormer windows to the front and rear elevations.
Our architect measured and listened to our clients' requirements and a set of drawings were agreed and approved. The formation of the dormer windows allowed for extra usable space in both of the bedrooms. We also incorporated a Velux feature window to the front elevation to allow even more daylight into the new bedroom. This also allowed for extra space to be used within the roof lift as 2 en-suite bathrooms. Again we worked within the timescale allowed and on budget. The couples home was changed drastically and we helped our client’s dreams come true.

Roof lift loft conversion with dormers to the rear
For this project we added a beautiful roof lift loft conversion to form a new Master bedroom and bathroom with gorgeous pitched roof dormers to the rear to this stunning bungalow in Sudbrooke, Lincolnshire.
We removed the old roof from the bungalow and replaced with new attic trusses at a higher pitch as the current roof height was not adequate for meeting Building Regulations. We were able to then achieve the Master bedroom and bathroom that our customer’s required.

TVM converted the loft of this beautiful home in Lincolnshire, to allow a parent to move in and give her the space she needed. We created a main bedroom, a bathrom, a guest room, a kitchen and a living spacious living, so she has an entire flat.

Cinema room loft conversion - Scotter, Lincolnshire

Loft Conversion within existing Attic Trusses
Normally we are asked to provide a loft conversion to add a bedroom, bathroom, study area, playroom etc. Creating this cinema room for a property in Scotter was a first, and we think it is a great idea for making use of the attic space.
This was combined with a WC and a small study area to one side. This family wanted a space that they could all come together and enjoy each others company. We were able to convert within the existing attic trusses with just the inclusion of Velux windows to the detached house.

We were originally contacted by our clients as they required an additional 2 bedrooms and a bathroom to allow other members of their family move in. We were able to achieve this by raising the roof to create a whole second floor. We gave our client’s advice from design through to completion, liaising with their local authority in relation to planning. We were able to complete this project within 8 weeks of our first day on site.
