The requirements incorporated a large spacious single room /en suite extension above an existing garage with a breakthough and installation of a connecting first-floor passage. An additional four bathroom suites and kitchen were also completely refurbished in the existing property.

Grade 2 Listed Remedial Restoration

This historic building had been extremely neglected over time and had developed serious issues with the ingress of rainwater. The pitch roof and flat roof structures had become dilapidated, requiring remedial joinery, slate and flat roof works on 14 pitch roof elevations and nine flat roof elevations. The stone build fabric was also damaged at various locations includng numerous chimney stacks. Approximately 70 tons of reclaimed West Moorland green roof slate was installed on the pitch roof elevations due to conservation requirements. Various works on the flat roofs were carried out. Internal works also included the removal of asbestos and treatment of wood rot. The programme of works was achieved with overwhelming success.
