Waterstreet Construction initially planned to renovate this historic barn that had been in disrepair for many years, to be used as a holiday letting complex. During the initial work, however, it became apparent that the building could not be saved as a tree was growing in the barn’s foundations. Rather than cancelling the project, however, we decided to build a brand new barn by reclaiming the majority of the stone and timber from the original building.
This project won us the award for best Heritage Project at the FMB South West Master Builder Awards 2017. To read more about the Midland & South West awards, click here.
