The FMB Building Conference: Building for Success sponsored by B&CE, provider of The People’s Pension, brought together policy makers, industry stakeholders and Master Builder companies in a live and virtual audience, to debate skills, retrofit, and standards in construction. The conference was held at Broadway House, a venue in the heart of Westminster and streamed online throughout the UK. The event concluded with a drinks reception sponsored by Jewson and Build Aviator which will include a speech by guest speaker The Rt Hon Lucy Frazer KC MP Minister of State for Housing.
The programme included Ministers, Shadow Ministers and senior industry speakers addressing the main issues affecting construction SMEs, and the importance of building more sustainably for the future. The conference was hybrid and included new for 2022 will be the addition of multiple online streams each with tailored content aimed at viewers in each of the devolved nations.
