This is an event organised by the Department for Levelling Up, Housing and Communities (DLUHC) to explain the changes to Parts L, F and O of the Building Regulations coming into force on the 15 June.

Some elements of Building regulations are changing in England on 15 June 2022. These changes are stop-gap measures to improve energy efficiency in housing regulations ahead of the Future Homes and Buildings Standards introduction in 2025, which will require more significant cuts to carbon emissions.

The aim of these measures is to make the changes in 2025 less severe for builders and also to help cut carbon emissions in the meantime. The changes will focus on energy efficiency improvements, ventilation, as well as introducing new overheating protection measures.
