​Come and join your fellow members at our free event sponsored by bp pulse taking place on Tuesday 17 May at the Electric Vehicle Experience Centre. The event is hosted by FMB Central and is open to all FMB members. 

About this event

The afternoon will start with FMB Central 2022 AGM, followed by open Central Board meeting. The event will conclude with demonstration and presentation on electric vehicles by EV Centre Manager Daniel Mclaren.

The theme for the session is electric vehicles (EV’s).  Daniel will help you familiarise yourself with the world of electric. He will talk on the past, present and future of EV’s including history of electric, manufactures vehicles, charging and infrastructure, maintenance, and sustainability. This will be an interactive session with plenty of opportunities to ask questions and look at the vehicles.

The event is free for FMB members and FMB Central Director Kiren Gill hopes to see you all there. 

The dress code for this event is smart casual.

Kiren Gill

Director, FMB Central

Kiren Gill joined the FMB in 2021 as the Director FMB Central. Kiren has nearly 15 years' experience of working in the construction industry.  Having previously worked at The Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB). At the FMB Kiren’s responsibilities include public affairs, media relations, governance and representing FMB Central member’s interests.

Daniel Mclaren

EV Centre Manager, The Electric Vehicle Experience Centre

Daniel Mclaren is an experienced commercial and product trainer/Designer. Having worked for the Volkswagen Group for many years Daniel joined BP pulse’s electric vehicle experience centre in August 2021 to help build and design education and training events along with managing the day to day running of the electric vehicle experience centre.
