Summary

My name is Brian and I own & run Cavendish, We have a wealth of experience gained within the construction industry, We have been providing building services from Cheam Village to South West London & Surrey for the last 20 year’s. Every building contract that we accept no-matter how big or small, is managed properly, from on-site supervision on most works to an experienced Project Manager based either in the office or on site for the larger contracts. All of our on site staff have extensive experience of the UK’s construction industry and are specialist in their chosen trades. Boundary Wall

This extensive boundary wall comprised 2 different bricks, these bricks were slightly different sizes and had to be blended in such a way as to achieve a perfect plumb and true wall, without looking like a blended mix. This boundary wall incorporated 2 different styles, a solid 9 inch wall to the boundary with the adjoining neighbour and a pier and panel run along the main road, the client requested a lime mix mortar to be in-keeping with the existing house mortar colour and pointing style.

Bungalow knock through with internal renovation

Our client bought 2 bungalows which we knocked through to create an amazing living space, providing a new solid wood floor and internal renovation and decoration throughout.

This single storey rear extension used our brick matching service to provide Our client with the best blending through of their brickwork, matching the post war period style brick bonding pattern and pointing with traditional and up to date cavity wall and insulation construction requirements, the internal ceiling is vaulted with the addition of Velux rooflights.

2 Storey Side & Single Storey Rear extension

This 2-storey side extension and single storey rear extension, including the re-model of the existing rear projection of the ground floor of the property combined a mix of period feature matching and the introduction of up to date building methods to create this mix of new and old whilst matching the existing as closely as possible. Brick matching and roof tile matching played a large part in this, also the use of different roof construction methods to alleviate the need for a built up table-top flat roof to the ground floor, giving a more forgiving and aesthetically pleasing roofline, more in-keeping with the surrounding area.
