CHI Homes I have used this company for about 12 years now. CHI Homes completed a kitchen extension for us last year which has totally changed the standard of living for my wife, three children and myself! I am a tradesperson myself so I know how easy it is to have substandard work from companies that promise everything and then let you down and mess you around! Lucky for us as a family that I have known Alli and Rob for along time and have observed how dedicated, honest and committed they are as people and a company! We decided they were the only company we wanted to use for our extension as firstly I had confidence that the safety and well-being of our children would be a high priority! Rob always advised when there was noisy, dirty work to be done so we could take the children elsewhere. It was always a pleasant surprise on returning home to see that all the mess had been cleaned up too! Obviously there were a few hidden difficulties along the way but these were overcome with minimal fuss! The job was completed on time and to a very high standard and as a nice touch, we get the occasional call to check all is well. New Home


I write to provide a reference based on my personal experience of CHI Homes Ltd and their standard of work. The quality of work in my property is second to none. All plasterwork and painting are finished to a great standard, along along with superb finishes to the kitchen and bathrooms. My property, although being of a very high standard was especially good value compared to similar properties on the market. Customer service has been particularly helpful, any issues I had, which have been few, were dealt with quickly and efficiently. I would wholeheartedly recommend CHI Homes Ltd to anyone interested in purchasing a quality value for money property.

New Home


As soon as we walked through the door of our home, we instantly knew we wanted to live here. From pulling up on the drive, we could see the specification of the house was high and were not disappointed as we continued through the house. The small detail and finishing touches are testament to the thought and care put into building this home. Not only does it look beautiful, with a very high spec finish, the considered approach to life in this home has also been well thought through - from the built in storage spaces to the plastered walls in the garage (meaning you have option to use this for another usable room rather than just a dumping ground for our tools) , lighting and the hotel like master suite, this is a home which we can grow with and enjoy for many years. You can feel the property was created from a boutique developer, that each aspect of the home is thought about rather than just repeating what's come before as you see with bigger property developers. Everything was included form the start, which meant we didn't need to worry about costs for extra plus or fence panels. The process of purchasing from CHI was hassle free, communication was A* and we never felt as though we didn't know what was happening throughout the process, stuck to the plan and ensured every action was executed on time and in full. Handover was fantastic with Alli and Rob, they had thought of every aspect for a new home buyer, they met us at the property and took a thorough and detailed approach to the handover. Post purchase, there have been a few things which needed attention, nothing major and as expected with any new build. I'm lease to say Alli and Rob have been great at getting to the issues straight away and most things have been done within 24 hours. I'd wouldn't hesitate to recommend CHI homes to friends and family and know they would receive the fantastic level of service and quality build that we did. We're loving life!

4x1 bedroomed Apartments, Bristol


From the exterior you would be forgiven for thinking this was a pair of semi-detached houses but in fact the property housed 4 spacious 1 bedroomed Apartments.  The design of natural stone and render was so successful, some passers-by often thought this development was a renovation rather than new a build. All properties were sold before the project was finished.  

It is important to the Directors of CHI Homes to build homes, not just buildings, that we would be happy for our families to live in.  We set ourselves apart from the large builder who provide standardised homes by designing additional features which just make day to day living that little bit more comfortable.   

Each Apartment was highly specified, built to exacting standards, each being sold with a parking space and cycle store.   The Ground Floor Apartments each had their own private garden.  All properties further benefitted from their own entrance ie their own front door and hallway opening outside.  It is popular for First Floor Apartments to have communal hallways meaning a lack of personal space for wet coats and that extra space to put your shopping when you are unloading the car.  We wanted to ensure that our home owners had a different experience, and had additional private hallway space, away from the main living area, so even the Top Floor Flats have their own front door and stairwell.   

We were also keen to ensure the Apartments were economical to run and so we added Heat Recovery Ventilation systems, extra insulation, triple glazing and low energy spot lights.   The MVHR system allows filtered fresh air in without heat loss, allowing the building to breath and remove moisture, dust and odours without losing heat.  

All Apartments had little added extras like highly specified doors, door handles, soft close kitchen doors, soft close toilet seats and integrated wine racks as standard as well as Induction Hobs.  We also fitted TV aerials and provided integrated Virgin Media cabling as well as USB plug sockets.   The kitchens were designed with plenty of work surface, corner units and extra height cabinets to utilise all available space as well as breakfast bars.  The bathrooms were highly specified with waterfall taps, large bathroom mirrors covering the entire wall and heated towel rails, all important when you are living in small space.  

The 2 Top Floor Apartments are south facing and benefitted from floor to ceiling picture windows making the lounge area feel light and spacious on any day of the year as well as  full-sized shower.  The Top Floor Apartments further benefitted from feature vaulted ceilings, polished aluminium braces and feature lights in the main living area. 

The Ground Floor Apartments were slightly larger with additional space to the rear of the lounge which featured an area of vaulted ceiling of 9ft with feature lighting, extending the lounge space to provide a spacious airy feel.  The patio doors from the lounge, provided access to the private garden.    Providing privacy to our buyers was important and so we designed the building in such a way that each garden was not overlooked.    In addition, we fully fenced each garden, providing lockable gates and full security lighting, making the gardens feel like an extension of the house.
