Coppin Loft Conversions is a family-run business founded in 1971, specialising in loft conversions. Based in Milton Keynes, we are a large enough company to deal with a loft conversion of any size, yet small enough to provide personal supervision on all jobs. We cover Buckinghamshire, Oxfordshire, Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire.
If you need more space but can’t face the thought of moving house, the solution could already be in your home. If your family could do with an extra bedroom, bathroom or even a home office, a loft extension could be the solution to your problems. By extending your loft, you can seamlessly and cost-effectively extend your living space, thus improving your home and adding value to it. Plus, you don’t have the hassle of moving house and the extra costs entailed. At Coppin Loft Conversions we pride ourselves on not only giving you quality and value for money, but that extra luxury that will really make a difference.
Our number one priority is the satisfaction of our customers, and we are proud to say that many of our clients come to us from a personal recommendation.
We do not have a staged payment plan; with out loft conversions all you pay to begin with is a small deposit, with no further payment until satisfactory completion.
Our team are conscientious, experienced and dedicated, and will complete your loft conversion with as little disturbance to you and your home as possible. To ensure that our work is of the highest standard, all of our plumbers are Corgi registered and our electricians are NIC certificated and Part “P” competent.
The process of working with us is generally as follows: after your initial inquiry, our consultant will visit you and quickly determine the feasibility and potential of your loft. We will then discuss your specific requirements and decide what is the most suitable conversion for your property. Afterwards, we will send you a detailed specification and fixed price quotation that can be accepted within eight weeks.
Once you have accepted our quote, our architects will draw up plans. We will submit these to your local authority for approval if necessary and once planning has been approved we will prepare and submit Building and Fire Regulation plans. These are required even if planning consent is not needed. Work will start approximately one month after all approval has been given.
