"The Company You Can Trust"

Testimonials (4 testimonials)

We wanted to convert our garage into a study space along with a downstairs shower and toilet. We also used part of the garage area to allow us to extend our kitchen.  All the lads were friendly and helpful. Very happy with the finished project.

I have to congratulate David and his team. While it was a relatively small job, the care and professional attitude was spot on. Totally satisfied with our new patio doors and window.

We had MAJESTIC fit us our first set of double glazing 30 years ago. I was amazed to find out David & Barrie are still running the business 30 years later. Needless to say we are exceptionally pleased with our investment and look toward to using MAJESTIC for future work.

From consultation to building control sign off, the process went to plan. We are of senior years and wanted a shower and toilet on the ground floor to make life a little easier for us. A plan was agreed and the price was competitive so we went ahead with job. We are very pleased with the quality of the finished job and recommended MAJESTIC to our neighbours 3 doors up who also used MAJESTIC for a project they had done.

Case Studies

Scout Group Shower & Toilet Block

A local scout group needed new shower and toilet block, a unique project having some interesting operational challenges along the way.

The 16 toilet and hand basin cubicles needed trickle flow heating and ceramic tiled walls along with quarry tiled flooring.  Alongside the toilets we incorporated male and female shower rooms both with intermittent water flow units and full tiling.  At the end of the block a commercial kitchen was fitted to provide the camping guests with pot washing facilities.

The internal corridor in the centre of the block gave a service access to all the pluming and electrics detail.  2 Worcester Bosch 36 kilowatt boilers were fitted to provide more than adequate heating provision.  The doors were finished in a black composite slab provided by Hurst plastics.

The surrounding area was finished in 2x2 Pavers and a retaining wall was added to give an aesthetic finish.  One of the final unique additions to this project was a fully operational rainwater harvesting system to save on utility costs.

Stable block conversion to Games and Entertainment room

For this project in Standish, Wigan our customer requested quotations for various home improvements, starting with a stable conversion into a “Man Cave”.

The result was a stunning transformation of the building into a high-quality games and entertainment room.

Bespoke Orangery and Indian Stone patio area

The conservatory market has moved away from the traditional “white box” stuck onto the back of the house.  Instead, the new effect is the “Orangery” building consisting of larger amounts of brickwork to give a more substantial feel to the room.

Insulation upgrades are also typical in the Orangery market, glass roofs can give incredible ‘U’ value qualities and keep running costs down. The glass roof also gives sound insulation which was a major issue in the plastic polycarbonates era over the last 25 years.

Other feature finishes include pelmet L.E.D lighting along with the bespoke cornice brickwork finishes to the top of walls.  This project also demonstrates the glass balustrade surround along with sunken LED up lighters in the Indian paving outside.  We also completed brad stone walling to the retaining walls which we then incorporated paved steps which lead to the garden.

The bespoke module also consists of aluminium Bi-Folding doors which give the open plan feel now a common requirement in the home improvement market.

The customer wanted something special and the end result is certainly not your typical conservatory!

conservatory roof conversion

MAJESTIC originally built my conservatory 15 years ago and we decided to have them back to install a new solid insulated roof.

We were amazed to find the same people dealing with the paperwork, manufacturing and fitting.  David and his team were fantastic, just like the first time round 15 years ago.

It was nice to see the fourth generation of the MAJESTIC family coming along with David’s some Jake and it seems they are in good shape to go another few years yet.

Kitchen Extension & Conservatory

We had several works done by MAJESTIC.

A kitchen extension, for which MAJESTIC also supplied and fitted the kitchen itself.

A large conservatory attached to the kitchen extension plus a separate utility room.

Dorothy explains "We enjoyed working with David on this project, we liked his honesty with us during the build.  We got what we were expecting and were made aware of any issues as we went along and everything got sorted without a fuss.  We also liked the family feel to MAJESTIC with David looking after the management and payment details, his son Jake was involved in the foundations and brick works and David’s brother Barrie carried out all the fitting and joinery work”

Very happy with the result and wouldn't hesitate to recommend MAJESTIC to others.

Dining and Sitting Room extension with Bi-folding doors

David looked after the whole process for us from the initial architectural drawings to final signing off with building control.

MAJESTIC’s team of contractors were a pleasure to work with.

I have to congratulate David and his team for a first class job well done.

Orangery extension

MAJESTIC have a historic name in Wigan and St.Helens for over 40 years.

I was pleasantly surprised how competitive their quotation was.

We agreed stage payments and the whole project went according to plan.

We have recommended David and MAJESTIC to our family and friends and we are very pleased with the finished orangery and will carry on singing the praises of MAJESTIC.
