We have been working in the construction and refurbishment market for over 25 years and regularly work for numerous architects and surveyors direct for factories and developers. The surveying companies that we have worked for over many years you can find on a separate sheet attached. We have tried to give you a spread of the type of architects / surveyors we work for who cover local government projects MOD office and factory refurbishment delaps projects small amount of shopfitting and a long term maintenance and support service after the main projects are completed.
We have approximately 40 operatives working direct for our Company of which 4 of them are working foremen who would generally run the slightly larger jobs or perhaps oversee one or two jobs if we have one of our three supervisors on site. Supervisors also control small jobs and with their additional experience can be slotted into detailed or complicated jobs.
The majority of our general work force has been with us for many years and we are also one of the few builders / contractors bringing apprentices through the company so we can instil into them our attention to detail and service that I believe is lacking generally in the building trade in todays market place. This work force is backed up from the office with 4 Contracts Managers 2 Directors Managing Director and 3 dedicated administration staff.
The range of jobs that we get involved with vary from £2000000 to £25 being our minimum that we would normally invoice but on average our project work is between £60000 and £750000 occasionally drifting into a larger job depending on client's requirements. We are members of the Federation of Master Builders and Guild of Master Craftsmen and all our work is to CHAS standards.
Hopefully this gives you a brief outline of our Company with the aim of giving you the confidence to send us tenders to price in the future which we price within house when time allows with the back up of a full time QS although independent mainly works for us.
