This bathroom conversion by Home Republic Ltd saw the team fit a walk-in shower, freestanding bath and fixtures in a tight space to wonderful effect. The project features brilliant crittall-inspired shower glass which complements the matt black brassware range perfectly. The on-trend monochrome colour scheme completes a sleek finish. The tiling really shows the attention to detail by the builder, which has helped make the most of the space available.
Raising the roof
Alford Construction designed this bathroom with their client, with a view to increasing floor area and making use of the formerly inaccessible space behind the back stud wall. They raised the ceiling to further enhance the sense of space, which works well with the colour scheme and the sky light to bring in natural light. The new dual bathroom and ensuite features a freestanding bath and open shower; all finished to a high standard despite a tight budget – proof you don’t need to spend big bucks for a beautiful bathroom.
The spa treatment
Part of a larger new build home project, Marlfield Joinery and Construction Ltd's work on this bathroom saw them install a whirlpool jacuzzi bath with overhead shower to give their clients a home-spa experience they can enjoy every day. The luxury touch continues with a bespoke vanity sink unit complete with quartz worktop, which houses a laundry chute to send used clothes down to the laundry room quickly and effortlessly. What's more, the bathroom is connected to a feature walnut-stained sapele staircase and a passenger lift, making it accessible for all users.
Warm and welcoming
This bespoke bathroom from David Smallcombe Ltd brings together natural stone and oak features. Calacatta Amber marble tiles sourced all the way from Egypt with amber veining and a herringbone pattern give the room a warm tone and a spacious feel. A custom oak vanity unit and matching bath panel sit well with the quartz worktop, and underfloor heating keeps those toes toasty through the winter months. With electronic controls governing the walk-in shower and bath, this bathroom is a modern masterpiece where the clients can sit and soak in peace and style.
Hitting all the right notes
Great Possibilities Ltd lived up to their name when they joined forces with the homeowner and an architectural student to design and build this modern bathroom in what was formerly a bedroom area. Incorporating chipboard effect tiles, a digital shower and a custom radiator fashioned in the shape of clothing hangers, this is a one-of-a-kind project showcases real creativity and skill. Other features include designer wall hanging units, an integrated electric brush-charger, a ceiling speaker, and even smart-system spotlights with colour changing bezels for the shower singers who want to deliver a performance - encore!
