This large renovation transformed a 1930s chapel into a four-bedroom family home, preserving its character while maximising potential. Key features include repurposed beams, enclosed original doorway, expansive glass balconies offering valley views, oak staircases with glass balustrades, and an open-plan kitchen. Challenges like creating the inset balcony and lower ground floor, and working in extreme weather, were overcome with careful planning and execution. Strong relationships were maintained with local subcontractors and church trustees through collaboration and consideration. The clients praise the high-quality finish and thoughtful execution. This in-house project showcases meticulous attention to detail and innovative space optimisation.

This project aimed to relocate, restore, and repurpose the historic coalmaster's office at Skegness Railway station, originally acquired in 1947. Challenges included an unexpected full demolition of the existing property, site access, tree protection, and complex technology integration. Excellent client and stakeholder relationships were maintained through regular communication, site meetings, and neighbour engagement. The client's testimonial highlights the builder's professionalism, reliability, and the exceptional quality of their new forever home.
For Misura Limited, this bathroom project went above and beyond the usual brief: ‘We're actually building a home for a young couple to love and enjoy and that would create a freedom that would last a lifetime.’ The builders were given a blank canvas with the bathroom, which was part of a larger house build. With a wheelchair user in the family, the bathroom layout had to work perfectly to enable access for everyone and provide ample storage for the couple and their young baby – without looking cold and clinical. Misura provided a warm and inviting family space, with room to manoeuvre and ample storage to hide away bath toys and clutter.
This project involved the major refurbishment of a disused 1930s cinema, transforming it into a vibrant cultural venue with multiple show spaces. These range from a 4,000-seat auditorium to an ornate ballroom, cabaret bar, and intimate private areas, all carefully restored to reflect the theatre’s original character. Despite significant challenges, including the removal and replacement of 90% of the existing floor structure, the building’s core integrity remained intact. The team showcased outstanding craftsmanship, technical problem-solving, and effective stakeholder collaboration. The result is a beautifully restored landmark that honours its past while serving a dynamic role in the community’s cultural future.

The team brought the client’s vision to life, tailoring the project to their exact needs. The client praised the team for keeping to the agreed schedule and dealing with all issues very promptly.
