The project involved replacing an old, unsafe timber staircase that provided access between the garden and an upper-level deck. The goal was to install a safer, longer-lasting structure in keeping with the property's style.

Approach

The existing stairs were dismantled, and new treated timber stringers and supports were constructed on-site. A hardwood landing deck was built at mid-level, with custom handrails and balustrades fitted for safety and visual appeal. All materials were selected for durability and weather resistance.

Result

The new staircase is sturdy, secure, and aesthetically aligned with the house. It provides improved access and a high-quality finish, with the client very pleased with the outcome.
