IWI Insulation on living room walls (Isotherm or Marmox Board) and re-skim plus decoration on Anti-mould emulsion, installation of a Positive Input Ventilation (PVP) into the existing loft space and the use of Dryseal Water Repellence on existing stone/render from the wall externally.
- Prepare walls ready to install 1.w.1 Wykamo Thermal Internal Eco System
- Wash all affected walls with a Wykamo Mould Removal Eradication Kit
- Mix and lay on walls with an Iso-Therm Bond Adhesive. Once cut to size lay on the thin internal insulation and damp control (TWI) system ready to skim plaster over.
This procedure resulted in no more black mould!

A1 Complete Builders have carried out a number of jobs for us since we moved into our Georgian town house in Truro in 2022, including repairing a badly leaking bay window, lime plastering a section of internal wall and repairing and decorating a number of window and door frames, whose timbers were beginning to split. Keith Pascoe is very responsive and professional and his team are unfailingly punctual, courteous and friendly, completing every job to the highest standard and on time. We have been particularly impressed by the skill and sensitivity with which they have dealt with the various challenges posed by our period property and thanks to them the place is not only watertight it looks great too.

We had a fire and hired A1 Complete Builders to do the remedial work. Having heard some horror stories concerning builders in general we went with a recommendation for A1 Complete Builders, it turned out to be an excellent decision! Keith Pascoe, the owner of the company organised all the works using his in-house tradesmen which resulted things being done to very high standard and, unusually for Cornwall, the work was done when he said it would be done. His detailed and specific estimates were all realistic and accepted by the insurance company with little or no hesitation. I can wholeheartedly recommend A1 Complete builders: excellent standards of work, great communication and works always finished on time! What more do you need?

(A1) Complete Builders are the first builders I've used that have done what they said they were going to do. Although they were not the cheapest, I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them. Various sections of the ground floor in my old cottage were stripped to the stone and then lime plastered to prevent my damp problems. It was a long, noisy and messy process but the men cleared up at the end of every day. They were polite and worked hard and methodically, explaining anything I asked about. I had confidence that they knew what they were doing. The finished result is beautiful.
