Acquisition of land and development

Yew Tree House was a new build house set within the Conservation area in Sawtry. The land was acquired with existing planning permission, we approached TMV Architect for design review and resubmitted planning for this 4 bedroom, 4 Bathroom house with a large kitchen dining area.

 Ablewood Ltd was approached by the client through a recommendation to build their new garden room, the drawings had already been prepared by a local Architect.   Initial works required removing the existing PVCu conservatory and foundations. The new Garden room was constructed with an Engineer designed structural steel frame to carry the large lantern. The front was a decorative de

signed section moulding to the client specification and machined up by our local Joiners in Idigbo. The bi-Fold doors and windows were installed in a RAL 7016 and the Origin system was used, the lantern was an Atlas aluminium section with reactive glass. A wet underfloor heating system was installed to work independently to the exiting heating, this was then finished with a lime stone tile. The outside paving was Raj Indian sandstone laid on a reinforced concrete base. Project duration was approximately 3 months to complete.
