Ainsley Construction created a property for a young man with paraplegia following a brain injury. The goal was to create a safe, fully accessible home that supported his care needs while also providing a private living space for his mum. Despite the property’s generous size, its layout, stepped access, and narrow doorways posed major challenges. The property was fully redesigned and extended, including a new accessible wing with a hoisted bedroom, ensuite, and therapy space. Level access, widened doorways, and dedicated spaces for carers and mum ensured functionality and privacy. External upgrades like a carport and garden room enhanced usability. The result is a calm, family-focused home that balances clinical care with comfort and independence.
