A warm welcome to Bentley Construction, a second-generation family business with over 50 years construction and project management experience in renovation, alteration, residential and commercial development.
We believe Built Differently… means working with our clients in partnership to ensure all details are covered before we confirm costs, it means incorporating detailed construction design before we commence work, it means we undertake each project as if it was our own to ensure high quality and value for money throughout.
We provide turnkey project solutions. These often include; design & planning, engineering & building control, interior design & specification and then a complete project management & construction service through to satisfactory completion, plus 12 months defects period as standard.
All our clients receive the same level of service and dedication to their project large or small. So that we do not over subscribe diluting our input, we are selective of the projects we take on to keep the level of service provided professional and dedicated.
Forward Planning. Our involvement during the planning stages has proven to be highly effective, keeping a commercial ethos of cost and return present, ensuring profitability for the developer and a tight reign on costs for homeowners. Securing planning consent with construction design consultation has reduced build costs and construction schedules in many of our projects, helping maximise returns for the developer and reduce costs for homeowners.
Detailed Design. With in-house CAD facilities we complete structural and detailed construction design, partnered with an experienced & practical engineering input, to ensure problems are designed out before we commence work on site. This forward-thinking construction ethos has allowed us to complete some very challenging projects in East London with great success.
Quality Construction having over combined 50 years’ experience from father to son, working within all aspects of residential housing, retail and commercial construction, we enjoy a wealth of hands on building knowledge, practical trade skills and technical expertise. Combined with a resolute ethos to site management, we work hard to ensure projects are kept on schedule and costings with a "can do" attitude and tenacious determination to produce a building we and our clients are proud of every time.
Modern Project Management. Our project management setup is included in every project with a modern approach to communication between us and our clients. We provide a Dropbox client folder individual to each project, within you will find all information from planning and engineering to completion certificates and warranty details. Our Dropbox also provides a “client uploads” folder which allows our client to upload any pictures, ideas or products that inspire them.
Accurate invoicing with scheduled evaluations of work in progress and work complete up to the date of each evaluation. Meaning our clients only pay for work done and have a clear understanding of what each invoice includes. We provide our own easy to read “Client Payment and Works Schedule” excel spreadsheet within Dropbox updated at each evaluation.
This shows a complete breakdown of agreed costs, invoice amounts allocated against individual items and then a remaining column showing exactly what has been paid for and what’s left to pay, a constant running total for each project. A second tab on spreadsheet shows the project schedule with milestones and important delivery or installation points where required.
We organise, arrange and meet on site all service connections c/w design drawings & specifications, complete all SAP, air / sound tests etc. as required and ensure all NHBC, BLP or Trustmark warranty providers are supplied with all the relevant details and designs to provide the complete service and project peace of mind.
We will take multiple photographs of the progression through the construction process to catalogue important details often hidden from the eye once complete. We include these photos within our project folder which we present with all details, manuals and guarantees from products installed on completion to our clients.
