They have completely changed my little house into a lovely home and have always been kind, considerate and obliging and extremely patient. Communication was excellent – quick responses, clear explanations and regular updates so we always knew exactly what was happening, even when we were away. Pete, Dan and their friendly team (Graham, Jack, Tim, young Dan, Scott, Rohan, etc) have done an amazing job taking over from a previous, less experienced, builder on our heritage residential property and outbuildings. They professionally sorted leftover problems and completed new works: everything from carpentry and drainage to flooring, paving, insulation, bathrooms, kitchens and more. I've especially appreciated the attention to detail and not cutting corners. The communication has also been great - easy to reach and with quick responses. Their local knowledge and contacts in the industry have been especially helpful. Pricing was transparent from the beginning with weekly detailed breakdowns of the labour and materials for open ended jobs and detailed quotes for fixed jobs. A great experience all around!

Billington Construction Ltd (Pete, Dan and Tim and their team) were friendly, reliable and trustworthy when working on our extension project. They went above and beyond our expectations, not only with regard to the standard of the build, but also with ideas about design. They took great care in matching the brick type of the extension to the existing house and worked closely with us on things like ceiling height, insulation and drainage. They recommended off the shelf cabinetry for our utility room and did a fantastic job of adapting the units to the space we had. They were also happy to work with our own ideas for a boot room area. From foundations, to bricklaying, roofing, plastering, plumbing, electrics and decorating, the team was diligent, meticulous and conscientious. We really appreciated daily visits from the management, who checked the ongoing work and would discuss plans with us for the coming days, which kept us in the loop at all times. We highly recommend them.

We have a period property, which requires continues TLC; one area that had been neglected over the years was a part of the roof which was difficult to reach as well as some high level windows. The team of Billington are a pleasure to deal with, addressed all issues promptly and very tidy workers. Hope to use them again for other works and have no hesitation recommending them, for small and large project work.

Billington Construction were recommended to us by our architect. We are very pleased we hired them. They were considerate and professional throughout. They left the site clean and tidy and were all really lovely guys and a pleasure to be around. It was a massive 2 storey extension with 6 m bifolds, all new windows, 4 new bathrooms added, a large new kitchen, a very big new master bedroom etc. They were knowledgeable in all aspects of building including handling huge steels needed etc. They came up with ideas on relandscaping the garden, built from scratch a large shed, re-did the drive etc. They came up with sensible suggestions throughout and were always available and listened to and acted on any suggestions. I highly recommend them as being trustworthy, honest, reliable and knowledgeable. We lived on site throughout and they were very considerate. The end result of the extension was fantastic.
