Buildmac undertook a wide range of building, structural and refurbishment works to restore our dilapidated 17th Century property ready for occupation. As works progressed a number of variations were required to make good unforseen defects. In all Buildmac were on site for over four months, they were a pleasure to have on site, hardworking and focused. We had just moved into our new house a few months ago and needed some work done. Buildmac had built a fabulous side + 2 storey extension in our house including a full carpenter made kitchen, en-suite master bedroom and a wonderful loft extension (for previous owners) - we were so impressed with their work that we asked them to help us with some external work that we needed done incl. structural timber work for our bay windows, rendering and replacing Fascia. Buildmac rapidly scheduled us in between other jobs and were able to finish the work in under a week at a very reasonable price. They gave us very honest feedback on what we actually needed rather than what was being recommended to us by Fascia companies. We were also very impressed with their constant communication and really appreciated Chris (Buildmac owner) keeping us in the loop all the time. 100% will recommend

Chris and his team worked quickly and professionally to get the work done. We are very happy with the work done, and when we did have any queries or issues these were always put to rest quickly, without any arguments and without any additional charges. We chose Buildmac to carry out the work because they are honest and hardworking. The price quoted was competitive, comprehensive and clearly itemised.
They have completed the groundworks and the construction of the walls, all within the agreed timeframe, and are now erecting the roof.
The preparation of the site for the groundworks was thorough, and after each day the site is left clean and tidy. The team are punctual to start, and if there are any unavoidable delays, they inform me.
Chris and his team are polite, friendly and accommodating, and any issues with the build are always discussed with me in advance.
I am impressed by their meticulous attention to detail and the quality of the brickwork is excellent.
I am confident that they will continue to provide a high standard of work, and I would gladly recommend this company to anyone who is planning to undertake any building work.

Very pleased with the works carried out. They installed an underground soakaway system for rainwater from the roof of my property. They also re-routed the gutters around the house. The builders were very polite, and they cleaned up after working each day. The communication was good, it was fully explained what exactly was happening each day. I will definitely use them again.

They came and installed a wooden side gate, it looks great, they made it high as requested, sitting in a nice-looking frame.
They also installed a lock so it can be unlocked from both sides with a key. They made a bespoke fitted cupboard with shelves which went in a corner in the living room, they also converted an old boiler cupboard into a cupboard with shelves and clothes rail. Both look great, painted nicely with no mess.
Finally they fixed water damaged wooden flooring from a historic leak, they replaced the damaged floor and underlay. It looks as good as new. Very pleased with all work.
