Our lovely client, Charlotte, employed us to complete a project on her period mid-terrace two
bedroom property in St Werburghs, Bristol. The project comprised of a single-storey infill
extension, with full house renovation, including replacing the old roofing, and the installation of a
new bathroom and kitchen. The main objective of the design was to create an open plan living
and entertaining space whilst maintaining some of the main period features, and re-using original
materials wherever possible. Modern design features were tied in to the property’s heritage
through the use of natural materials. Maximising natural light and the use of a neutral colour
palette were key within the clients brief. Improving the thermal efficiency of the property was also
critical for our environmentally conscious client.
