Designed initially by Pembroke Design & later by Carreg Concepts it has been dramatically improved, fit for 21st century living. The talking-point is the ‘pod’ hanging above the kitchen housing the modern bathroom, yet opening up to the ancient stone walls. A hand-made internal oak structure supports the roof & A-frames & bathroom pod. A beautiful kitchen by Cwtch Haus Designs finishes this amazing property.

'Carreg Construction turned an old ruin with a tin roof into an incredible home. The quality of the finish is simply outstanding. It was hugely encouraging to work with a group of professionals whose enthusiasm for the project was evident and whose craftsmanship shines through in every room. They are an exceptional team and a pleasure to work with.'
'It has been a pleasure to work with Andrew and his team. I feel very fortunate we found Carreg to build our home. They were meticulously professional throughout and have a fastidious attention to detail and desire to ‘get it right’ that is very rare. I could not be happier with the final finish of the building.'
'The quality of the construction of the new Cloisters at St Davids Cathedral is due to the way Carreg Construction put shape and substance to the plans of the architect and the needs of the cathedral. The superb stonework and woodwork, the high quality of the internal and external finishes, the mechanical and electrical systems, the care taken to ensure that the quality of the work both matched and expressed the quality of the architecture of the cathedral, the unique setting and the tranquillity of the sacred spaces are due in a very large part to the way in which Carreg Construction interpreted their brief as the main contractor. Their work ensures that not only are present needs met, but enduring work for the future, graces the Cloister, the Treasury and the Refectory.'
'Carreg Construction recently carried out a complete refurbishment of our house following a serious fire. The project was extremely well managed both in-office and on-site; the workmanship was of a consistently high standard and unexpected difficulties were resolved quickly and effectively. Work was carried out from beginning to end without interruption and, not least, we enjoyed their company on a daily basis.'

On site, Mike Raymond and his team of quality tradesmen, worked tirelessly, to exacting high standards. They made us feel part of the team, which helped us settle instantly into our new home.
