What started as a garage build in Landshipping turned into something much more. Our client—a golf enthusiast—wanted space for his Land Rover, a gym, and a hobby room. Once complete, he loved it so much he added a golf simulator… and the Land Rover hasn’t made it inside yet! We stopped by last week and it was a joy to see him enjoying the space.

With breathtaking sea views, the home features high-spec finishes including Eco Haus Internorm windows and doors, Ted Todd flooring, and a beautifully crafted handmade kitchen. A cosy snug pays homage to the building’s origin, a former farmhouse, with expertly restored stonework by Carreg’s skilled stonemasonry team.

Following the completion of the house, a comprehensive landscaping project was undertaken by Seed Landscaping, further enhancing the natural beauty of this extraordinary setting.

Perched on the cliff edge over-looking Tenby’s Castle Beach and with glorious views out towards St Catherine’s and Caldey Islands and Worms Head, this superb 1840’s period property has been carefully reinstated for its current owners into a beautifully tasteful home.

Carreg have spent the past five years over different phases completing works from the roof to the basement on this Grade 2 listed property.

Perfectly nestled into Newgale hill, this striking new build property was completed at the end of 2021. Comprising of two kitchens, three bedrooms, all with en-suites and two large living areas in the centre of each storey, the home overlooks the beautiful two-mile stretch of Newgale beach.

Carreg are delighted to have been awarded the All Wales Best Individual New Home 2022 by the LABC for this project.

Initially our client approached Carreg to carry out some building work to their home. As the discussions started to flow it became apparent that the design they had wasn’t quite right for them. This is when the Carreg Concepts design team got involved to see what could be done to achieve their dream home.

With two young children our clients needed a family kitchen that was practical and spacious. This house is all about colour, fun and a place to entertain friends and family! Henry and Jo wanted something unique and the incredible reclaimed hexagon terracotta floor tiles from Fired Earth are certainly a talking point.

The kitchen and utility space hand-made by local cabinet maker, Scott and Grey was created to perfection and built to last many decades to come.

The Cabin was built alongside the farmhouse project at Llanddinog, creating a holiday space for friends and family to come and enjoy, whilst keeping the main house for the home-owners to enjoy for themselves.

The space consists of a large open-plan kitchen, dining, living space, a super stylish shower room and a luxurious and light bedroom.

This ancient grade II listed homestead with it’s original Flemish chimney is a landmark building in Templeton. Long abandoned as a home it was run-down & looking very neglected. Designed initially by Pembroke Design & later by Carreg Concepts it has been dramatically improved, fit for 21st century living. The talking-point is the ‘pod’ hanging above the kitchen housing the modern bathroom, yet opening up to the ancient stone walls. A hand-made internal oak structure supports the roof & A-frames & bathroom pod. A beautiful kitchen by Cwtch Haus Designs finishes this amazing property.

The Cowshed

The brief – a more suitable, safe yet beautiful home for a family member on the home farm. Designed by Pembroke Design, the property is now a comfortable single storey home with both contemporary & rustic features, lovingly restored with eco credentials.

The Granary

The original farm building was a rundown storage shed. With a new roof, windows, lime-pointed stonework, an external glazed staircase, this former granary is now a warm comfortable home with efficient heating, modern shower room, bathroom & large kitchen.

Melin Tregwynt, an employee-owned woollen mill, next to Abermawr beach in North Pembrokeshire, was in great need of a larger contemporary cafe and kitchen for it’s many regular visitors and tourists. The stylish cafe is a result of many months of difficult construction work and lots of head scratching moments trying to meld the old with the new.

The old Edwardian house which has had a complete refurbishment and the ultra-modern extension have been skilfully married to create and uber stylish home for a professional couple who are overjoyed with their beautiful home.

The extension was awarded the LABC winner for Pembrokeshire 2017.

The extension of the National Park Visitor Centre to form a semi-subterranean art gallery, education rooms, art workshops and new cafe was undoubtedly our most demanding project to date. Cutting edge technologies coupled with tight work schedules created interesting challenges which Carreg delivered on time, on budget and to an extremely high standard.
